Curious what's happening at LAX - normally DL40 arrives at T5 and goes through immigration/customs there. Today we arrived at TBT instead.

Only downside really was a stroll between TBT and T5. We landed early and were kept back from the gate until immigration opened at 6am but being one of the first off (thanks to a cleared GUC) the experience was fine. No queues - first in line.

(Actually landing was odd as there was no real announcements and so the crew weren't even strapped in - one was in the lavatory!)
