Rough first day for Aramark, the new concessionaire at Yosemite. Website down, call center overloaded and public outcry about the name changes.
Prior to the switch in concessionaire about a week ago, I tried to move my entire stay ahead by one day at the Yosemite Lodge. Website showed and was also told that the hotel was fully booked...booked solid through the entire summer. Tried again yesterday. Oddly, there was availability every day through the summer. After several attempts, I was able to reserve a single night at the lodge. Hopefully there wasn't an error in the reservation system.
