Filson makes beautiful and durable bags, but my concern would be the weight. Are you able to check that bag out in person to see just how heavy it is? If you're a good packer-- in the sense of being able to cram a lot in small spaces-- I could imagine that bag approaching 50lb/23kg limits fairly easy, despite it's smallish size.

I agree with AATrout about Otter Green-- I occasionally get stopped by people admiring my otter green bag. Mine is about a decade old at this point and the color gets better with age. Although I rarely carry it anymore because the bag itself is incredibly heavy empty...
