The NYC Taxi and Limosine Commission has asked for price increases in many areas including the flat rate from JFK to Manhattan. As early as April, the fee could rise from $35 to $45 (plus tolls & tip). When the taxi fare goes up, car service will follow ASAP. Keep that in mind. It might even make the Airtrain more attractive to me if I'm not carrying much luggage.
