I have flown HA out of lih many times, but only to other islands. I know when you fly to the mainland from HNL, you have to go through the "plant inspection" and get a sticker on you bags before you check them. The HA LIH-LAX flights all stop at OGG or HNL. Do they have "plant inspection" at LIH or do you have to retrieve your bags in OGG or HNL and have them inspected there? btw I called HA twice, they don't know
