I originally booked KA893 arriving HKG 6:10pm connecting to CX797 departing 7:10pm.

When I checked my itinerary today, KA893 is now scheduled to arrive HKG at 6:25pm while the connecting flight is scheduled to depart at 7:05pm.

I'm thinking the connection is now too tight. With CX797 being the last flight out, do they usually hold the plane for connecting flights?
I'm debating whether to leave my itinerary as is or change CX797 to the first flight on the following day at 9:20am.
