I've done single-night airport layovers here, and I suppose some people might consider that in a pinch. Depending on the time of day you're flying out, the difference in travel time to this hotel vs central Bangkok isn't that significant. And some of those hotels can be comparable in price or significantly cheaper -- I hold BRGs at THB 3800++ for St Regis and THB 1500++ for ROS -- while offering much better benefits and more to do nearby.
I can't imagine anyone in their right mind would spend a few days in Bangkok and then move here for a single night (I'm not quite sure if that's what you're suggesting). If one must hotel-hop, there are much more convenient options in Bangkok.
