One drink coupon per person per night at Latitude, no tapas. Quite the downgrade, could be recently introduced "cost efficiency" measures? It's strange though, I can't imagine the hotel receives many plat guests.

SPG properties in Bangkok, and if the "club" benefit is curtailed, it's hard to see why anyone would stay here.
Agreed, it is definitely not a viable option for those wishing to sightsee and do the whole tourist Bangkok thing (Grand Palace and what have you). The downtown properties are all fighting for those pax. But to get away from the city for a bit before a flight out? For those wanting to recharge after a long flight ex-USA? Could be quite compelling, no? It still counts as a stay/night towards status Rates are also always consistently low @ ~3,000-3,500THB from what I've seen.

Also the free shuttle to the Mega Bangna mall ("largest in S.E.A.", there's an IKEA attached to it FFS) and to the BTS might be a good way to experience the real suburban Bangkok.
