There are a variety of urban legends related to the Mormons' ownership of various companies. We always heard the stories told that they run Coca-Cola or Pepsico. Neither one is true (beyond the fact that some Mormons might indeed hold those stocks).
I wonder if Mormons find these legends funny. There aren't any urban legends about the United Methodists controlling some big multinational conglomerate. Maybe I ought to start a rumor...
