I would love to read that thesis. And meet the professor who approved that theme.

I recall reading a story about this a couple of years ago, pointing out that PPV porn had become a huge revenue stream for hotels, and quoting several big chains as saying the main complaints were that... the movies weren't explicit enough.

In the last few years, indeed, I think the PPV offerings in the US have evolved from "hard R" cuts of mainstream porn films, which tease a lot but show no explicit medical-encyclopedia stuff, to straight-X, no-holds-barred movies, mostly shot on video.

Banning hotel porn is a stupid, invasive idea, and not just because it's a money tree for the hotels. Next these prigs will be campaigning to get red meat off the room-service menu.
