I flew SAA from Miami years ago and got One World points, SAA were with AA... but that ended... Looks like SAA has code share agreements with everyone so why limit yourself to one airline.
I went to South Africa 2 weeks ago and its a very competitive route.. I paid $499 US with Iberia JFK MAD JNB. You can also get YYZ JFK JNB with SAA at $1250 CND with TA. South Africa has very competitive pricing, and I assume most of it is "Tour" customers so maybe it does not add much value to join *A. or One World.
I also went to Kenya 13 months ago with BA, and that makes me miss One World. Lets get BA to Join *A..
