Thanks for the info. Is there a shuttle FROM the airport then? Did you take the shuttle to or from and how long was the ride? My taxi ride with a driver who was unfamiliar with the route was tortuously long.

I admit it, this bugs me. If it's trying to position itself as an airport hotel, I think that 200 baht per person for transportation (roundtrip?) is going to hurt its business. Sure would make me think twice about it.
From the looks of it, it's definitely not trying to be an airport hotel but a destination hotel aimed at locals. Airport hotels are small and optimized for convenience; the LM Suvarnabhumi is anything but. The airport transfer is more of a byproduct of its location, nothing else.
