can you book coach on a biz award and then switch to biz if a seat opens up? Can you do that last minute?
Ok, lets say you book SFO to JNB, first flight to DXB is in Biz, but only coach to JNB, book it ( your paying for biz all the way) and if a seat (s) open up then you can change the second leg. This is what I do when I can not get the second leg at first. I am generally booking 6 to 9 months out. I generally get the second leg but once I did not. The odds plus hey it's free anyway.
Same thing goes for FC. It's their rules we have to play by them.
