Seriously?? Huh. Maybe it's because I arrived unusually *late*, but on my MR a few weeks ago I arrived around 6:05 and encountered no lines to speak of except at the gate -- and there I just sat nearby and waited for everyone to go through. (It's not like you won't be able to find an overhead bin in F!)
If anything I wished I'd woken up
later - I had a solid half-hour to kill before going through gate security.
