I gave up. I emptied my suitcase into my ruck sack (I didn't have much anyway), gave the case to my wife who will be going back to Gozo tonight and went through with just that one, bulging bag.
Of course the question is how many passengers are they going to wait for?
They've started processing again. When I turned around there were hardly any pax in bag drop and assistance queues. Club queue was by far yhe longest at the time and the slowest going.
Luckily I'm checked in now, throught the security and sat in the lounge now. Fingers crossed no more surprises this evening.
