I normally rent National. I'm Executive over there. Used my Mastercard Elite card to get Avis Preferred Plus. First time renter at Avis.

The Taurus Limited only had 300 miles on it. I don't like not being able to pick my own car. That said the Taurus was nice, but not ideal.

I understand some airports let you swap. I have an off airport 9 day rental later in the year, hope for more choices then if I try Avis again.
