Hate to open up another can of worms with this - but couldn't you stop payment through your credit card (i.e. you paid for a service that you didn't receive?) I'm not well versed in this area of contract law (and there are many, many more 'experts' on the subject {see Thai free tickets}), but someone might be able to clarify?
