My TA is so cool!
When SN refused to rebook me, my TA pulled out the IATA rules and guidelines, and asked SN if they wanted the TA to read certain parts over the phone, for example the part stating that I have the right to be rebooked or given a refund (I get to choose the alternative I want) if a flight is cancelled. SN declined, and they are going to take another look at my case.
The TA is handling a lot of government travel, for example a lot of European Union politicians flying to and from Brussels. There are two airlines (SN and SAS) competing on ARN-BRU, and the TA is pretty sure which airline to avoid booking in the future
It's now been almost five months since I bought my ticket, and I still don't know what's gonna happen.
