Check the distance between the departure airport and arrival airport.

Under 2000 miles
60 TP in First
40 TP in Business
20 TP in Full Flex Economy
10 TP in discounted Economy

Over 2000 miles
210 TP in First
140 TP in Business
60 TP in Full Flex Economy
30(?) TP in discounted Economy - never flown this in recent memory

Use http://gc.kls2.com to check distance. However, for distances near the 2000 miles point mark, then do a dummy booking on aa.com. It lists the number of miles that AA are between the two airports. Only AA's view matter.
