Long ago, on an end of year mattress run over Christmastime, I got the Presidential Suite at Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles. The hotel was pretty much empty. Beautiful hotel; I'm sure they host a lot of summer weddings there.

I've gotten more than a few nice suite upgrades from Marriott at international properties but have found domestic properties to be rather stingy on upgrades.



I'm envious. My wife loves that property; we've always been upgraded to very nice cottage units (we've never stayed in the main lodge). I didn't even know they had a Presidential Suite.
