No, I don't think you get to judge whether someone might have 'other issues' based on a 3 hour flight and wanting to enjoy a wine or two as an expected part of premium cabin service.
Who are you to make this judgement without any knowledge of a person's individual preferences?
I for one enjoy my business class travel and take it as a rare opportunity to relax and have a drink during the flight - given I am so busy and don't get much recreation time on the ground. What if I decide to indulge during a 3 hour flight, but don't drink for the rest of the month - do I have issues?
But to assume that not having booze on a flight is somehow traumatic for me - you've missed the point by a mile here.
This topic subject is important in allowing travellers to weigh up the options when choosing their carrier. It may not be the most important factor, but it is certainly one of many to consider.
