Are there are parents out there who CAN control the kicking of their children? If so, how do you do it? Am I being unreasonable to suggest she COULD control it (if she were sufficiently motivated)?</font>
I agree with you 100%. The parents CAN & SHOULD be in control of that type of behavior. I think back to when I was a kid, and if I even thought about kicking a seat back, well....let's just say I wouldn't get away with it!

It truely amazes me sometimes to see how many children behave (while traveling at least) these days. I'm not sure if it's because the parents themselves never had much discipline as a child, or if they're afraid that their 7 year old may sue them!

It makes me truely appreciate the very few well behaved children I do see.
