Just called HGP today to try and upgrade a P+C reservation at the Hyatt Centric Park City (formerly Hyatt Escala Lodge Park City). Suite that the DSU books into is available. However, three separate phone agents denied the upgrade request, quoting that P+C+DSU inventory was not available. One agent even tried to say DSU upgrades are always at the discretion of the hotel, and the HGP terms I quoted are just a "guidance" for the hotel

I thought this issue had been settled... hasn't it been confirmed that P+C rates are treated the same as a paid rate for the purposes of applying DSUs? Hoping to get some confirmation here before I embark on another lengthy argument with a phone rep...
