You're in luck - this weekend is one of the cheapest times to book a rm in NYC. You're not likely to get a great view of Central Park in a NYC Hyatt (closest is the Park Hyatt).
That said, depending on what experience you're looking for (restaurants/shopping/shows/sightseeing etc?) I would say your best all around bet is the Andaz 5th Ave ($203). Great property/service, fairly centrally located with a good upgrade - Splash suite if you're lucky.
Other options :
Andaz Wall St ($128) - downtown, close to Chinatown/Little Italy, quieter, good brunch
Hyatt Union Sq ($229) - fun hip area - lots to see and do around here
Hyatt Times Sq ($144) - Times Sq - enough said (touristy/glitzy)
Grand Hyatt ($199) - big, busy hotel conveniently located on top of Grand Central - you'll likely get upgraded to a spacious suite with Grand Club access
