I wonder where this will go. I think the hotels should just increase it in the rate advertised. After all, it's not charged per person (I hope they don't get any ideas!) and is clearly not optional.

We spent five nights at the Walt Disney World Swan in November, using SPG points. Annoying that between parking and resort fees, it was still $250 or so!

At least with the airlines, one could argue that not everyone checks a bag (a whole other discussion...) but with the hotels, it's mandatory!
