My favorite is L'Hotel. It is in a great neighborhood on the left bank. A few blocks from the St. Germaine church. Small hotel, exellent room service and food (good house champagne also). Very luxurious and richly decorated rooms. The rooms are set around a circular foyer that goes from a small pool in the basement to a dome in the ceiling. Hermes toiletties in the room last time I was there. Basic rooms might be around $250 although since the dollar will officially be worth nothing soon, better hurry. Two top floor suites are fantastic. Ive stayed in the smaller one. The large one has its own private roof garden.
