Stayed last year at this gem called Le Pavillon de la Reine which is an 18th century mansion on Places des Voges in the Marais.
Rooms are sharp with floor to ceiling windows and in my room the bed was on a mezzanine level upstairs from the living room (loft style). Rooms have exposed beams. Bathroom was ultra modern which was great.

Staff are very friendly

Could be more than $250 these days but worth checking out.
