Longest possible non-stop flight
Singapore Airlines is planning to start SIN-JFK non-stops soon, which clocks in at 9537 mi according to GC2 and is quite literally halfway around the world.
There is of course no point in flying more than halfway around the world, because then it would be quicker to fly the other way around... so are there still feasible non-stop routes that could be longer than this? I can't come up with anything better than the unlikely-sounding SIN-MIA (10542 mi).
