I’m looking right now and I see 30k on the Cathay website. February 27th to March 7th. Ex JFK CX 845 and returning from HKG CX 840. I could fly a different time and save 7k but the times don’t work if I’m flying last minute. Also chartering a jet from JFK to HKG is around $3400/hour, doesn’t fly direct so stopping for a fuel stop is necessary, meaning my flight time is more than 16 hours. How is that more economical again?
