Without providing a link or details of the fare that you're comparing to, it's like taking a shot in the dark to try and figure out what your specific goal is.

Also, of note, not doing overnights in JFK will require you to stay in PTY at least one night. I'm not sure if that's okay or not based on your post... Same day turn in PTY causes an overnight in JFK each way.
