In general (not just AY) it's no use to threat with legal (or similar) action unless you're ready to do that. Until that you're dealing with customer service, but once you mention legal recourse, the corporations will go into legal-mode, probably passing your case to legal dep't and they will probably say "OK, just sue us, see you in court"
