I take plastic signs that say odd things in hotel rooms and put them in a guest bathroom at my house. I have " going to our pool? please don't take towels from your room" , " the water in our city is slightly discolored due to minerals, and is prefectly safe", "If you need anything during your stay please see the concierge". I must have 15 in there now and they crack people up. I love to hear some one in the bathroom laughing hyterically. It is also a nice reminder of places I have visited. If it doesn't list an interesting hotel or say something unsusual I leave it. I only take plastic ones. There were some nice ceramic ones in the JW Marriott in Mexico City but I thought that was " stealing" so I left those. I guess I am on shallow ethical ground.
