As best to my knowledge, Hilton hotels prefer be contacted by phone, so they can immediately solve it, whatever your question or problem is. Or they will call you back.
Thanks very much for suggesting a workaround. However, the point that I was trying to get across was that a business which does not care for the convenience of its customers and instead purposely adopts an obstructionist stance, is simply not deserving of my patronage.
