As a non regular I was also underwhelmed mainly with the service, well ok the whole setup actually when I visited last year. Agree the wine/champagne is very good but its a bit annoying when it takes 15 minutes to get a refill. GF is actually fine.
I also had a nice breakfast at the Pier HKG this morning which may colour my feeling ....
Ps Today on Cathay business..British couple on seeing long haul Cathay business.."is this First class?"....I kept quiet....
