Exclamation Need quick help: are these last-minute website/flight glitches normal?

Checking my and my wife's separate AA award tix on EY for the same flights tomorrow (JFK-AUH-SGN), I see that we are unable to check in. I then clicked on "Modify Booking" under "Manage My Booking"for both of our tickets, just to see if I needed to provide more info (such as passport or whatever) in order to be able to check in. But I got two unsettling messages at that point: for me, it is a message that at least one of my flights is unconfirmed; for my wife, it is that there is a "Retrieve Payment Problem" and that EY cannot recognize some ticket elements.

I called EY Reservations to try to clarify these matters. Both agents I spoke with said that both of our reservations are confirmed and look fine. But still, I'm a bit concerned about both of these messages. (In addition, one of the agents said we couldn't check in online because of a website glitch; the other, sharper sounding one, said it was because we had booked our award tix via AA.)

I've just spoken with an AA phone agent who does not see any problems with either of the tickets.

FWIW, for both of our separate tickets we start with SFO-JFK flights (though at separate times, hence the different tickets).

So...are these kinds of glitches typical for EY's website? Are the EY agents more likely to get it right (in saying everything looks fine) than the website? Beyond getting to the airport early tomorrow to make sure we can get our boarding passes and fly, any other advice on how to deal with this?

Thanks for any quick help!
