My work schedule/pattern changed suddenly last year, so I didn't achieve SE status for 2016 for the first time in 8 years. Actually, quite refreshing to book based on schedule and cost without being tied to one airlinenow. I'm realizing how much extra I spent to buy Flex tickets or fly on Air Canada just to meet my minimum AQM on AC metal.

Granted, I will miss the perks of being Super Elite. But this is one addiction that I need to ween myself off of! At least I made E50K this year so not all my benefits are gone at once!
