I need direction here....should I send a letter to AA and if yes, to whom, re this situation. I know you guys can help.

Was to fly home to LAX from JFK on Sunday morning, January 4, American Airlines. My flight was to leave at 7 a.m., and I arrived at JFK at 5 a.m. Utter chaos. Everyone bunched together, no direction, no anything. As the time got closer I tried to let "those in charge" know my flight was going to leave and I needed a boarding pass and quick! To deaf ears!!! In panic I offered an employee $20 to please get me a boarding pass and allow me to board my flight home...it worked. So basically money talks...and the airlines want to know why they are in trouble? I always fly AA, but no longer. It is not the $20, but the idea that that is what it took to get me on a flight I paid hard earned money to be on in the first place especially during the holiday season where prices are exorbitant anyway. Where should I take this?

Please describe what you mean by 'utter chaos'. There were no lines at the ticket counter? No people working at the ticket counter? How did you find someone to bribe? Please give us some more detail to exactly what you experienced. Thanks.
