westbound red-eyes in the U.S. -- has scheduled service ever existed?

I realize that this is the kind of question that'a been asked here before, I couldn't find the answer.

Outside of Airport 1975's Columbia Airlines , has any airline offered a scheduled westbound red-eye service?

I, for one, would enjoy a 2:00am JFK-SFO flight, but I recognize that I am probably in a very small minority, and that such a service would probably fail miserably.
