Honestly, the last thing I want to do is fly Easyjet as the first leg of my Honeymoon. Call me pretentious, but beyond the crazy luggage fees I'll end up, it's just an option on this trip.
[EDIT] Read Easyjet as Ryanair. EJ doesn't seem so bad - and it looks like it'll be around 370 euro total for them. That's definitely an option.
I forgot to congratulate you on the wedding! There is absolutely no issue of pretension of anything else in having your preferences on which airline/plane/etc to fly. This is all about individual choices, priorities, etc, and even more so on your honeymoon which is a trip you'll hope to remember all of your life.
That said, while I personally have a slight preference for AF over U2 when prices are the same, I quite like U2 and find them a perfectly decent airline to fly compared to most legacy airlines' economy. I put my money where my mouth is too as I was on a U2 plane again 3 days ago. Flights are fine, crew friendly, on time record better than almost any legacy carrier, and you can always pay to assign yourself good seats like row 1 or emergency exit which will also include speedy boarding and an additional small item of hand luggage. I know you say you plan to spend the night at CDG but if you didn't, another advantage of U2 is that as they arrive at terminal A, you have the direct shuttle to terminal 1 from which SQ will leave (as compared to AF which arrives at terminal 2F meaning that you need to take two shuttles to go to T1).
I would personally not consider either flying to ORY or connections unless it came with very significant savings.
