To fully answer your question we need to know where you are flying. But as you mention GF have to assume long haul. So the other answers would be correct. No GPU on a K fare and no CPU's on international long haul.
Thanks. This is SFO-SYD. I may have misstated the fare classes — the resulting fare using the instant upgrade is PN. I don't actually see the original fare class.
What I am wondering is whether it's even a possibility that the PN business seat would get CPU'd into GF.
