First time in First as a birthday treat LHR to IAD in Sept (actually Club out and First back which is overnight)
My main question though is which seat combination would others recommend for a couple flying in 1st currently automatically assigned 2E &F
2E/F great as you can chat and eat together. Views out of window not that relevant on a night flight and also the angle of the seats means not a great view in First A380 (in my opinion). All seats are slightly off angled so you don't have to look at anyone else in this cabin - apart from your partner!
