That's what I thought, too, but actually UA is much more expensive, and for some reason people are taking a while to notice it. For example, you can fly SFO-BOS-SFO March 21-23 for $437.20 on JetBlue. $407 the following week. And note that these aren't even the cheapest options on B6, because I don't like red-eyes or early morning flights, but you can get even cheaper if you are willing to fly at 7am.
If you are flying this weekly, you may be overpaying by about $10K/year.
