Sorry to end this with a question, but how many miles did the agent want to charge you for ATH-FCO-DEL? Only ATH-DEL or ATH-FCO + FCO-DEL???

Tell you what, her quoting 65k miles is a small victory in itself. I bet you next time you call, you'll get an agent who'll quote 100 k miles for this itinerary..
65k for FCO-DEL sector + 35k for ATH-FCO sector.

deovrat, you were right....called back again today to try & book the same itinerary & was now quoted 125k miles & only inr 6k in taxes....so this agent got the taxes amount right but the mileage part wrong....the whole call took 48 minutes & in the end the agent could not figure out the mileage bit....kept insisting that both sectors will be priced separately as far as mileage is concerned but together for the taxes amount....
