My sister was once carrying two bottles of French wine (gifts) in her carry-on at BWI. The TSA agent told her to open the wine. She explained that in order to open a wine bottle she would need a corksrew, which would be forbidden.

The TSA goon was baffled. At least he didn't make her drink her breast milk.

My advice: don't carry a corkscrew. Put it in your checked baggage.
