From seeing the new policy "in action" for the past couple of weeks, it is obvious that UA really didn't think through the complications of the policy: (1) early boarders who drag on way more than they can carry; (2) the gap in time between boarding "Families with kids <2" and GS/Group1/etc; (3) Gate Agents who have the guts to challenge those who try to board with kids well over age 2.

My frustration is with UA. They did a terrible job of thinking through this policy change and in implementation.
