For active @reward accounts your IHG points are non-expiring

Prior to this March2016 IHG points had been non-expiring. IHG announced a year ago that non active accounts would get all banked points expired.

Basically expiry can not happen whilst you are an elite, and if non elite expiry requires 12months without any account points activity, eg 1 stay, book/cancel award night, buy points, spend points etc.
