In F you would have to a middle pair and the middle bassinet. Even in the middle pair, it is not easy to reach a small child in the adjoining middle seat when you are both belted in. Plus if the 3 year old does manage to unbuckle and escape, it is not easy to retrieve them!
Having experienced both, I would disagree. Whilst the middle seats at the back of a CW cabin are great, the extra space and service in F are a huge bonus, esp the Dine on demand as other have said.
It's much easier to get out of an F seat to chase down a 3 year old than the middle club seats too, it's a smaller cabin with less places to hide too!
Re the first check in, there is no need whatsoever to use it unless it really would make you feel much better having yellow priority tags!
An extra 10 mins in the CCR is a much better idea
