3 months.....very interesting. Five weeks to get the car to the States after two weeks to drive around Europe, that means if one could kill another 2-3 weeks, he/she could beat Gov. Arnie out of at least $2500 in California sales tax. If true, it would make sense to fly over, pay for it, go back home and then fly back and pick the car up a month later.

I wouild want to further research this, however, in that when you register a "used" car, you have to pay tax on the value of that car.
