It counts as a stay for Diamond qualification and you get 500 bonus points. Those are the selling points.
I see. I was asking because prices are not "reduced service chain" in some properties. With hilton, i have always received very good treatment and upgrade in Garden Inn (suite upgrade and breakfast + diamond bonus) but with hampton nothing special. Will see
