I drove from RI up through NB to NS last fall. Cape Breton Island is very beautiful, but Sydney requires a transfer at Halifax. But Halifax is pretty. Like kiwibigdave says, drive SW to Peggy's Cove and on to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Or go east along Rte 7.

I think there's also direct flight to Fredericton. That's one of the prettier cities of NB. The Saint John River valley is quite beautiful.

Or how about Sault Ste. Marie?

And is this limited to Canadian domestic flights or will you come down to the U.S.?

I dont drive . I can go to the US. I can fly to Sydney direct but that is with another airline and they are too expencive. I can come to the US possibly, of course I am thinking about this idea, I am not 100% sure where I will go.

Thanks
